About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Duty Manager to join our team in a permanent, full-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring compliance with licensing and health regulations, all while striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Pay Rate: NZD $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As the Duty Manager, you will:
- Supervise and coordinate daily retail operations, focusing on sales, inventory management, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations and effectively manage the team.
- Monitor financial transactions, conduct POS reconciliations, and manage staff attendance.
- Ensure merchandising standards are met and maintain store cleanliness.
- Guarantee compliance with ID verification, health and safety regulations, and licensing laws.
- Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders as needed.
- Address customer queries and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Support business goals and enhance operational efficiency to meet targets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong managerial skills, either through a business or managerial qualification (Diploma or Bachelor's) or previous experience in a leadership role.
- An LCQ Certificate and a Manager’s Certificate, which are mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A physically fit disposition, capable of moderate lifting.
- Honesty, reliability, self-motivation, and a proactive nature.
- A willingness to work on a roster that includes evenings and weekends.
- A clean criminal record, with the ability to pass police vetting checks.
