About the Role
As an Information System Trainer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and supporting the development of IT capabilities for our staff. This position enables access to training opportunities and tools for all employees by coordinating providers, promoting courses, and encouraging online learning models. You will also support super-users within services and provide direct training to staff, both individually and in groups.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of New Zealand health sector applications and ideally some experience in teaching. Key attributes that will contribute to your success in this role include:
- Excellent communication skills that enable effective teaching to a diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce
- A learner-focused approach, demonstrating the ability to adapt to various learning styles and competence levels
- High levels of personal motivation to identify workforce needs
- Proven ability to work independently
- Effective planning and prioritization skills
- The right to work in New Zealand
- Current employment with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand
