About the Role We are seeking a skilled mobile developer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, modern native mobile applications. In this position, your contributions will be instrumental in shaping our technology roadmap. You will define and promote principles of quality, stability, and maintainability in software design while ensuring our apps are delivered with speed and care. In this role, you can expect to: - Build native applications for iOS using the latest technologies to provide our mobile users with a world-class experience. - Explore innovative solutions to enhance our native mobile platforms, equipping our product teams with the best tools and resources. - Participate in research and development, contributing fresh ideas that keep us at the forefront of innovation. - Collaborate creatively as part of a dynamic squad to develop exciting products for our internal customers, engaging in all phases of the development lifecycle from ideation and design to user testing and beyond. - Join the Trade Me mobile guilds, where you can learn from colleagues across the company and share your expertise. - Conduct and implement functional and UI automated tests based on our quality standards. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should bring the following: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile development roles. - Proficiency in native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C. - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is preferred, but not mandatory. - A collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team. - Organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change as needed. - Attention to detail and a commitment to enhancing the mobile experience in terms of speed, reliability, and maintainability. - A proactive approach, demonstrating personal motivation and the ability to face challenges head-on.
