About the Company Our client is a well-established contractor based in Christchurch, actively engaged in a variety of ongoing projects throughout the Christchurch CBD and surrounding subdivisions in Selwyn. With several projects set to commence in the upcoming weeks, we are seeking skilled and competent individuals to join their team. About the Role We are currently looking for All-Round Operators, Civil Labourers, and Class 4 Truck Drivers with WTR endorsements to operate various machinery across different sites. The specific roles include: All-Round Operator: This position requires confidence in operating machinery across a range of sites, with a preference for candidates who have drainage experience. Civil Class 4 Truck Driver with WTR: In addition to driving, this role will involve labouring as needed and operating a loader, as well as moving other equipment. Previous experience driving on civil construction sites is essential. Civil Labourer: Candidates should have experience working on civil or drainage sites. A Class 2 licence to drive a small tipper is preferred. Responsibilities will include plate compaction, operating a shovel, and assisting drainlayers and other staff on site. These positions offer immediate start dates for successful candidates, with the potential for long-term temporary to permanent opportunities.
