About the Role
We are currently seeking a Retail Pharmacy Assistant for Unichem Onehunga Centre Pharmacy. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their retail career within a supportive and dynamic workplace. This permanent part-time position offers 20 hours of work each week, with a roster that includes availability from Monday to Sunday.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our customers receive efficient, caring, and professional service at all times. You will also be responsible for maintaining product knowledge, general housekeeping, merchandising, and stock maintenance, while upholding our store standards. Supporting your team members is equally important, and we value a collaborative approach to achieving our goals.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Retail experience is essential, with pharmacy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the Toniq system is a plus.
- A strong ability to connect with people and engage with the community.
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Quick learning capabilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and empathy in interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of grooming.
- A willingness to pursue development opportunities is highly valued.
Desirable skills include:
- Experience in pharmacy, although not mandatory.
- Interest in healthcare and over-the-counter products.
- Cash handling experience.
- Proficiency in using the Toniq retail Point of Sale system and general computer skills.
