About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Orderly to join our team at Timaru Hospital. This position requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm, as you will be part of a dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and responsibilities. The role offers flexibility with varied shifts and ensures that no two days are the same.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will be based at Timaru Hospital, working alongside a dedicated team responsible for a variety of physical tasks within the service. This includes moving and delivering essential items such as medical equipment, blood products, medical specimens, and laundry. As an Orderly, you will also play a crucial role in the patient journey by assisting with patient movement, providing an opportunity for you to engage with patients and help ease their experience.
About You
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate initiative and contribute positively to the patient experience. While you may sometimes work independently in various locations, you will always be connected to our supportive orderly team via radio communication.

Salary Range
This position falls under the terms and conditions of the Etu Food and Services Collective Agreement, with salary determined according to the relevant pay scale.
