About the Role
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and operational management to ensure that we deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care to our patients. Working in a dynamic inpatient unit means that no two days are the same, offering you the opportunity to enhance your leadership skills with a focus on quality improvement and change management. Your goal will be to foster a community of best practices within our team.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our multidisciplinary team includes enrolled and registered nurses, psychiatric assistants, a social worker, an occupational therapist, as well as inpatient psychiatrists and registrars. About You
To excel in this position, you will possess well-developed clinical skills within the mental health setting. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- A current New Zealand Registered Nurse with an annual practising certificate (APC)
- Relevant postgraduate education, preferably a Post Graduate Diploma or higher
- A current Professional Development and Recognition Programme (PDRP) at Expert or Senior Nurse level
- Proven ability to navigate complex and changing environments
- Previous leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on fostering team culture and collaboration
