About the Role
We are seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and services that align with our customer service and business objectives. Your work will contribute to our strategic goal of becoming the leading automotive repairer in New Zealand.
You will carry out auto service and repairs in accordance with our established processes and quality standards. Effective communication with customers will be essential, as you will need to inform them about vehicle issues, required work, and estimated timeframes. Providing excellent customer service during all interactions is paramount.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to promote relevant products and services offered by our Association and business partners, ensuring they meet customer needs. We encourage continuous learning, and you will have the chance to expand your knowledge and skills while obtaining further qualifications to enhance your ability to deliver our diverse range of products and services.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A relevant trade qualification
- A minimum of three years of experience in the automotive industry, gained within the last five years
- A clean full New Zealand driver's license
- The ability to service, repair, and inspect all types of passenger and light vehicles
- A solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
