About the Role
In this role, you will report directly to the Lead Technician and be part of a dedicated team of service technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all operations and maintenance activities at the Waipipi Wind Farm, located 5.5 hours south of Auckland, are conducted safely and efficiently, with minimal downtime to our assets.
Duties
- Participate actively in WHSE, toolbox, and daily pre-start meetings
- Assist in completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines
- Support the maintenance of wind farm Balance of Plant equipment
- Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Contribute to achieving targeted performance standards for the wind farm
Requirements
- Trade experience in Electrical or a related field
- A current driver's license
- Previous experience working on large commercial or industrial projects
- Familiarity with troubleshooting or fault-finding environments
- Must reside within 1 hour and 20 minutes of the site
- Physically fit and capable of climbing towers
