About the Role
We are currently seeking a seasoned Power Technician to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor or Area Manager and play a key part in delivering expert support for protection systems, SCADA maintenance, and installations. Your contributions will directly enhance the reliability and performance of our Distribution clients, ensuring that communities remain safe, connected, and progressing.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant EWRB Electrical Registration and a current Practising licence
- Hands-on experience in power systems and electrical protection work compliant with industry standards
- A valid NZ Class 1 Driver's License
- Demonstrable experience in the commissioning, testing, and maintenance of High Voltage protection systems/schemes, as well as installation of substation plants and systems, and HV and LV plant and assets
- Preferred experience with the maintenance and installation of SCADA and communication equipment
- Relevant industry-related experience
