About the Role We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Line Mechanic to become a part of our distribution team in New Plymouth. In this role, you will be working across Taranaki, providing high-quality service and workmanship in the construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations. This position is essential for those who are looking to grow their careers within a respected organization. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria: - Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and a current practicing license - A valid Class 1 full Driver's License, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle; a Heavy Traffic License is desirable - Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and safe practices for low-voltage electrical work - A minimum of two years of experience, including high voltage and overhead work, is preferred As a highly skilled Line Mechanic, you will demonstrate technical proficiency across a broad range of tasks, along with a commitment to delivering quality results. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently are essential.
