About the Role
We are currently seeking New Registered Midwife Graduates to join our multidisciplinary team at Palmerston North Hospital. This is a permanent, part-time position where you will play a pivotal role in delivering individualized, evidence-based, and women-centered care to approximately 2,000 women and their families each year.
As a new graduate, you will benefit from a comprehensive onboarding program tailored to your specific needs, led by our Clinical Coach and Midwifery Educator. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled and professional team, contributing to meaningful outcomes for women and their families in our community.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should be:
- Registered with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Possessing strong communication and teamwork skills
- Committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Adaptable, flexible, and solutions-focused
- Passionate about midwifery, with a desire to improve outcomes and experiences for women and their families
