About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Qualified Drainage Foreman to take on a short-term assignment lasting two months. In this role, you will lead a small team while managing traffic and operating various machinery as part of a drainage project. This opportunity offers great benefits and the potential for permanent employment in the future.
Role Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Operating a range of machinery, from diggers to smaller equipment like plate compactors.
- Reading plans and ensuring that materials are ordered and onsite to meet project timelines.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems.
- Leading a small team and demonstrating effective leadership skills.
- Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
- Preparing and completing data for monthly claims.
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of two years of civil construction experience, preferably in water, wastewater, and stormwater.
- A current drainage or reticulation serviceperson qualification.
- Experience operating machinery, including a Class 2 license and WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to pass all pre-employment checks.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $35 to $42, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
