About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team in Masterton. In this hands-on position, you will oversee and manage the efficient and accurate daily operations of our depot, reporting directly to the Delivery Manager – Western Logistics. Your role will involve actively participating in day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving and issuing goods, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations. Key responsibilities for this position include: - Actively engaging in daily warehouse operations, including receiving and issuing goods and managing inventory and cycle counts. - Ensuring operational efficiency, improving key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, safety, and service. - Utilizing JDE operating systems, RFGen, and Excel to maintain accurate inventory levels. - Demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage daily workflows and resources across sites, while adapting to unexpected challenges. - Communicating effectively to coordinate with team members, manage workflow, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders. About You We are looking for someone who enjoys tackling a variety of projects and is proactive in supporting the team. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - A minimum of 3 years of warehouse management experience. - A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - A solid understanding of warehouse systems and best practices. - Experience with JDE, warehouse RF scanning, and Excel. - A commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality workplace. - A current fork hoist license and a clean class 1 motor vehicle license. - Flexibility regarding working hours.
