About the Role
We are seeking a Food Services Assistant (FSA) to join our food services team. In this casual position, you will play a vital role in delivering efficient food and beverage services to our patients, visitors, and staff. The hours for this position will be offered on an as-needed basis.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Taking and delivering meal orders to patients
- Washing dishes in a timely manner
- Performing cleaning duties according to the established schedule
- Assisting in the preparation and assembly of patient meal trays
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen is advantageous
- Exceptional time management skills
- Good literacy and communication skills
- Motivation and reliability with the ability to work independently
- Confidence in using computers and software
- Certification in 'Practice Food Safety in a Food Business' (unit 167) is required
