About the Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all front-of-house shift responsibilities, making critical decisions, supporting staff, and ensuring that our high standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include hiring, supervising, and training staff, as well as organizing staff training and management courses. You will assess staff performance and conduct regular reviews every three months.
In addition, you will prepare and cost new menus while ensuring profit margins and minimizing waste. You will also control stock levels, organize weekly liquor assessments, and conduct monthly stock takes. Managing invoices and ensuring stock is stored appropriately will also be part of your duties.
To maintain our exceptional service quality, you will greet all patrons with a smile and ensure that our service standards are upheld. You will oversee daily cash reconciliation and banking processes, and prepare weekly rosters to ensure adequate coverage while meeting the wage percentages set by management.
Regular meetings with staff and directors will be organized to promote cohesive and efficient management throughout the restaurant.
Requirements
To be considered for this full-time, permanent role, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
Benefits
This position is located in Central Auckland, with a pay rate of $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience. The role requires a commitment of at least 40 hours per week, from Monday to Saturday.
