About the Company We are a leading company based in East Tamaki, specializing in container fabrication. We are currently seeking an experienced fabricator to join our team on a full-time basis. About the Role This position requires you to work Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with Saturday hours from 8 am to 1 pm. In this role, you will perform various welding and fabrication tasks, utilizing your solid experience across different materials. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with panel repairs, modifications, and customizations as required - Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and complies with safety regulations - Utilizing your expertise as a fitter welder in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding - Demonstrating strong blueprint reading skills and effectively operating power tools - Maintaining and organizing a clean workshop area Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience: - Relevant welding certifications or equivalent experience - A minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication experience - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Physical fitness and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment - Flexibility to work on a weekend roster as needed Benefits We offer a competitive salary package along with the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes professional development.
