About the Role We are currently seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee our daily courier delivery operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our services are executed efficiently and effectively. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning delivery schedules, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will: - Oversee daily courier delivery operations and ensure timely service. - Plan and implement delivery schedules for drivers. - Manage staff rosters, training, and performance. - Ensure compliance with health and safety and transport regulations. - Monitor fleet performance and implement efficiency improvements. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. - Maintain operational records and prepare reports for management. - Coordinate vehicle maintenance and fuel management. - Implement GPS and tracking systems for delivery monitoring. - Develop cost-control strategies and monitor budgets. Key Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, or a Level 4 qualification. Delivery Driver About the Role We are also looking for enthusiastic Delivery Drivers to join our team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This role is vital for ensuring that parcels and documents are delivered accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities As a Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include: - Collecting and delivering parcels and documents to designated locations. - Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries according to schedules. - Handling packages with care and maintaining delivery integrity. - Operating company vehicles safely and maintaining cleanliness. - Following health and safety and road transport regulations. - Maintaining accurate delivery logs and obtaining customer signatures. - Communicating effectively with the manager and dispatch team. - Reporting vehicle issues and assisting with basic maintenance checks. - Providing excellent customer service during deliveries. - Supporting additional courier tasks as required by management. Key Requirements For this position, you will need: - A valid NZ Class 1 driver’s license or an equivalent overseas driver’s license. - No prior experience or qualifications are required; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Benefits We offer competitive pay rates for both positions, with the Delivery Manager role offering $30 - $36 per hour, and the Delivery Driver role offering $25 - $30 per hour. Both positions require a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week.
