About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our store Administration team at our Mt Wellington location. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, providing an excellent work-life balance. As part of the Central Administration team, you will support various departments within the store with all their administrative needs. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our back-end functions operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing accurate and efficient support across all areas of administration. - Balancing and preparing floats for tills prior to store opening. - Balancing department banking. - Maintaining files for finance contracts and processing payments. - Following up on outstanding finance debts to ensure timely settlement. - Matching delivery dockets from the warehouse with invoices and purchases for verification. - Processing invoices in preparation for payments. - Maintaining an organized filing system for all documentation. - Answering incoming telephone calls in a friendly, polite, and helpful manner. Requirements While experience in the retail industry or administration is advantageous, we primarily seek candidates with the following attributes: - Strong organizational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail. - A team-oriented mindset and a desire to work within a close-knit group. - A natural inclination towards creating order and adhering to established processes.
