About the Role
This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including assisting on-site with labor tasks, setting up and packing down Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), and being flexible with job locations, which may occasionally extend outside of Christchurch. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a strong focus on health and safety practices.
Job Specifics
- Assisting with stop/go signs
- Setting up and packing down sites
- Driving to various job locations around Christchurch
- Engaging in laboring tasks as needed
Requirements
- Current TMO/STMS qualifications (essential)
- Proven track record with confirmation from two references
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Class 1 FULL driver’s license at a minimum (Class 2 or WTR is advantageous, and we can assist you in obtaining this)
- A strong safety-first attitude for yourself, your team, and the public
- A reliable, honest, and flexible approach to work
- Physical fitness, as the role requires being on your feet throughout the day
