About the Role
Our client, a well-established Frames and Truss Fabricator located in the South Auckland area, is seeking a skilled MiTek Site Measure Specialist/Estimator to join their dynamic team. With over 20 years of experience, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering consistent product quality and exceptional customer service through a listen-first approach. As a MiTek Site Measure Specialist/Estimator, you will be instrumental in supporting our client's ongoing success.
Your key responsibilities will include conducting precise on-site truss measurements, executing framing work to high standards, utilizing MiTek software to create detailed designs, collaborating with team members to ensure project success, and effectively interpreting building plans to align with client specifications.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Highly organized with the ability to quickly adapt to new processes
- Experience in site measurement and detailing
- Proficiency in MiTek software
- A valid New Zealand driver's license, preferably full
- Ability to read and interpret building plans
- Experience in framing and trussing
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Capability to work independently
Benefits
We offer a competitive starting rate of $32 per hour, with an additional 8% depending on experience. While we are ready for an immediate start, we are also open to waiting for the right candidate. This role provides ongoing work with the potential for a permanent contract.
You will enjoy a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Comprehensive training on industry-specific programs will be provided, along with opportunities for upskilling and professional development.
