About the Company ConsultANZ is seeking talented Intermediate to Senior Estimators to join our client in Auckland, who specializes in significant infrastructure projects. Their expertise encompasses a variety of essential constructions, including roads, bridges, stormwater systems, pumping stations, and water treatment plants. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for major roading and earthworks projects. We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in civil engineering and substantial experience in estimating for large-scale infrastructure initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing accurate cost estimates for roading and earthworks projects. - Contributing to competitive tender proposals. - Analyzing drawings, specifications, and contract documents. - Collaborating with project teams to ensure precise cost forecasting. - Obtaining pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. - Assisting with project scheduling and risk assessments. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 8 years of estimating experience, preferably in roading and earthworks. - Proficiency in CCS Candy estimating software. - A strong understanding of civil engineering principles. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - A relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction is preferred.
