About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified Refrigeration Engineer / Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $45, depending on experience. While our operations are based in West Auckland, the role may require occasional travel nationwide for equipment installation and service. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing equipment within our client base, as well as handling installation, refrigeration piping, and associated works. We offer a varied and challenging work environment, where no two days are the same. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: - A current trade certificate in Refrigeration with a minimum of two years of experience - Electrical certification (EST certificate) is beneficial - Approved handler / filler certificate is highly regarded - Current Site Safe certification - Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities - A self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude - A clean driver's license - High standard of workmanship and a conscientious, reliable approach - Team player with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, and service - Ability to work independently as a professional representative of the company - A high focus on health and safety This role typically operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with limited after-hours work. While the average workweek is between 50 to 60 hours, we offer flexibility to accommodate individual candidates. There will be no late-night work, although some earlier starts and later finishes may be required depending on workload.
