We are currently seeking a Full-time Shift Supervisor to join our team and help lead our operations. About the Role In the role of Shift Supervisor, you will be engaged in a hands-on management position, where you will lead by example and motivate your team to excel. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our customers receive outstanding service while maintaining the highest quality standards in our products. We are looking for someone who can quickly adapt to our environment and demonstrate the skills outlined below. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a pizza store or a similar environment. Key qualifications include: - Strong communication and writing skills - Proven ability to motivate and lead a team effectively - Excellent customer service credentials - Experience working within budget constraints to run a profitable business - Ability to fulfill timely reporting requirements - Familiarity with reconciling financial reports and handling cash - Experience in administrative tasks such as stock handling, ordering, and managing invoices Benefits As a Shift Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: - Establishing a solid foundation for daily store operations to ensure overall success - Planning and implementing operational budgets in accordance with the financial year business plan - Collaborating with your team to manage and achieve monthly goals - Focusing on key operational elements to maintain a smooth, efficient store environment - Reviewing and updating menu items and pricing to enhance profitability - Monitoring stock levels and assessing the popularity of dishes before placing orders - Facilitating payments to suppliers and negotiating favorable terms when necessary - Evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and accuracy in deliveries while addressing any discrepancies - Developing and implementing marketing and promotional activities to boost profitability and popularity - Recruiting, training, and supervising junior staff, delegating duties, and conducting performance evaluations - Cultivating a respectful and supportive work environment that encourages team cohesion and achievement of objectives - Setting, reviewing, and maintaining high customer service standards to ensure efficient and timely service for all customers Personal Attributes Required We are looking for candidates who possess the following personal attributes: - Availability to work late nights and weekends - Integrity and honesty - A positive personality and great interpersonal skills - Self-motivation and a strong drive to achieve results - Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team success - Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards If you are passionate about the food industry and have the relevant experience and skills, we encourage you to apply and join our team.
