About the Role
We are currently seeking a Cleaner for a fixed-term position at North Shore Hospital, with the role concluding on December 31, 2025. This part-time position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Cleaners play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our patients, their families, and our staff. In this position, you will take pride in your daily contributions to the well-being and safety of everyone within our hospital. Our team of Cleaners works diligently around the clock, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join us on a temporary basis.

About Us
Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata offers health services to approximately 500,000 residents in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas, making it the largest health district in the country. About You
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written English proficiency
- Respectful and courteous demeanor towards patients and colleagues
- Reliability and availability to accept shifts on short notice
- Motivation to participate in mandatory staff training sessions, which may include operating floor care machinery
- Ability to follow duty lists, safety protocols, and instructions for specialized cleaning equipment
- Flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes within a busy hospital environment
