Engineering Industrial/Technical Cleaner

About the Role We are currently seeking a Technical Cleaner to join our Engineering team at our Quality Bakers Site in Auckland. In this essential role, you will help maintain a safe and reliable plant by ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to set you up for success. This position operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule, with day shifts starting at 6 am and totaling 40 hours per week. The pay rate ranges from $26.91 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities - Maintain machinery and the plant to a high standard of cleanliness. - Keep timely and accurate records of all cleaning and sanitation activities. - Assist in preparing the site for external and regulatory audits as required. - Contribute to the development and implementation of cleaning maintenance processes. - Support the manufacturing team with any cleaning-related issues. - Communicate any concerns to the Multi Skilled Engineer or Engineering Manager. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities: - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude. - Willingness to occasionally work in confined spaces. - Experience with processing and operating plant and equipment is advantageous.
