About the Role
As an Operations Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our subscribers and customers, delivering essential support through both inbound and outbound communication via phone and email. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our subscribers enjoy a positive experience with Equifax.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails.
- Providing assistance for general inquiries, technical support, and billing questions.
- Manually verifying customer identities to maintain account security and data protection.
- Assisting with the use and maintenance of our database and systems.
- Creating and modifying operator IDs as necessary.
- Accurately logging all customer interactions and their outcomes.
- Effectively escalating complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Proactively following up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate options to subscribers.
- Educating and assisting customers and businesses regarding the information on their personal and commercial credit reports.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment.
- Solid keyboard and software skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The capacity to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
