About the Role
We are currently seeking a Store Manager and a Duty Manager to join our team. Both positions offer the opportunity to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our store meets the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
Store Manager
Number of Positions Available: 1
Location: Auckland
Pay Rate: $32 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
- A qualification at Level 4 or above in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, which include food preparation, customer service, and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising staff to maintain high performance and productivity.
You will also manage staff rosters, shift planning, and leave scheduling, as well as monitor inventory, place orders, and manage stock control. Ensuring compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations is essential, along with handling customer complaints and maintaining a high standard of service.
Additionally, you will track store performance and implement corrective actions to meet sales and cost targets, while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards within the store. You will report directly to the business owner or area manager regarding performance and staffing matters.
Duty Manager
Number of Positions Available: 2
Location: Auckland Region
Pay Rate: $29 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
- A qualification at Level 4 or above in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Duty Manager, you will supervise day-to-day retail operations, ensuring an efficient and smooth workflow. You will oversee staff during shifts, allocate duties, and manage rosters to ensure excellent customer service.
Your role will involve monitoring inventory levels, assisting with stock orders and deliveries, and maintaining store presentation, hygiene, and safety standards at all times. You will perform daily cash handling, reconciliation, and banking tasks, while also training and supporting new staff members in customer service, systems, and safety protocols.
In addition, you will be responsible for handling emergency or unexpected situations professionally and according to company policies. You will report to the store owner or manager regarding any operational or staffing matters.
