    About the Company We are dedicated to providing enriching experiences for children in a safe and supportive environment through our School Holiday Program. Our team of community support workers plays a vital role in ensuring that all children can engage in fun activities and participate actively. About the Role We are currently seeking Community Support Workers for our School Holiday Program, which runs from September 22nd to October 4th, 2025. This is a fixed-term position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. As a Community Support Worker, you will collaborate with a team to create and maintain a secure and healthy space for children with learning disabilities during the school holidays. Reporting to the Programme Leader, you will facilitate meaningful activities and support children to engage in a variety of tasks. These positions are fixed-term contracts for two weeks, coinciding with the Term 3 school holidays, and will be based in Porirua. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are committed and passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes: - Effective and supportive communication skills with colleagues and the children we support - Empathy and a willingness to assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting - A strong commitment and reliability in working alongside people with disabilities - Vibrant and energetic personality with a love for having fun - Ability to multitask and confidence in interacting with children - A valid First Aid Certificate If you are interested in helping individuals develop self-confidence and independence, enabling them to live their lives of choice in their own communities, we would love to hear from you.
