About the Role:
In this role, you will supervise and assist children during program activities, ensuring a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe working environment for all children, staff, parents, and visitors. You will assist the Programme Manager in running the daily schedule as outlined in your task list and report any concerns regarding children's behavior or other issues back to the Programme Manager.
Hours of Work:
This is a casual employment role with shifts available Monday through Friday. If selected, you will be scheduled to work on an "as required" basis, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum hours. Potential hours include:
- Before school: 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM (if required)
- After school: starting from 2:30 PM
Location of Work: Oxford Crescent, Upper Hutt
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
- Have reliable transportation or ideally a vehicle to commute to the specified site
- Possess a keen interest in working in similar fields
- Have previous experience working with children, whether through babysitting or volunteer opportunities
