About the Role
We are seeking an administrative support professional to join the Child Development Service (CDS), which is a multidisciplinary team specializing in developmental assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Pathway Coordinators, who oversee the coordination of CDS client pathways and the clinical triaging of referrals. The salary range for this position is $72,035 - $79,573.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the referral management and intake process
- Supporting communication with families and clinicians
- Managing data quality and reporting
About the Team/Service Location
The Child Development team consists of dedicated allied health professionals who work within a transdisciplinary model. We take a holistic approach to empower children to reach their maximum potential within their families and wider environments.
Our team includes Speech Language Therapists, Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Social Workers, a Clinical Pathway Coordinator, and an ASD Coordinator. We also have a small team of support staff who assist with our work.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, along with a solid understanding of office administration systems and procedures. Experience in a health environment is preferred.
Key skills and experience we are looking for include:
- A proven ability to work successfully in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong commitment to maintaining patient and office confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act
- A clean driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry items such as boxes of documents
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
