About the Role
We are currently seeking a Programme Administrator for the Geography department, a permanent, full-time position within Te Kura Tātai Aro Whenua - School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences. This role is essential in providing administrative support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our school’s operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering accurate and timely administrative and operational support to staff and school management, particularly in the areas of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Advising on changes to postgraduate policies and processes and providing executive assistance to school committees, including taking minutes.
- Offering dedicated administrative support for programs related to Geography, Environment, and Development Studies.
- Updating and maintaining the school’s website, ensuring that information pertaining to undergraduate and postgraduate materials, marketing, staff, and seminar details is current.
- Adopting a client-focused approach to meet the needs of both current and prospective students, addressing inquiries and providing information on courses in a professional manner.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service and office administration.

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy in your work.
- Proven capability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
