About the Company We are collaborating with a New Zealand-owned business that specializes in both light and large-scale commercial projects throughout Wellington. Our portfolio includes a range of developments, such as commercial buildings like supermarkets and warehouses, as well as hospital and medical center projects. About the Role We are seeking qualified Plumber/Pipefitters to join our team. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on various exciting projects within the Wellington region. Key responsibilities will include: - Measuring, fabricating, and installing various types of piping materials, either independently or as part of a team - Waterproofing penetrations and conducting leak tests, as well as performing necessary repairs - Demonstrating welding and threading expertise for different piping systems - Engaging in tasks involving copper brazing, Fusiotherm, and PVC pipework, which are highly desirable Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: - New Zealand trained and qualified as a Plumber/Pipefitter - A minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing and pipefitting experience in New Zealand - Proven experience in the skills and responsibilities outlined above We are offering a variety of employment options, including permanent, contract, and fixed-term roles in the Wellington area. Please note that we will only consider candidates with relevant New Zealand-based pipefitting experience. The pay rate will be determined based on experience and the licenses currently held.
