About the Role We are looking for experienced commercial plumbers to join our team for a deployment that is expected to run from approximately October 2025 to March 2026. This role requires a strong work ethic and a willingness to embrace the challenges of working in one of the most remote and breathtaking locations on Earth. In this position, you will be involved in a large commercial construction building project, performing a range of plumbing tasks, including basic plumbing and repetitive work. A current New Zealand Plumbing Licence is essential for this role. Requirements To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Only New Zealand and US citizens with New Zealand or US passports, currently living and working in New Zealand, are eligible to apply. - You must be willing to receive vaccinations for Flu, Tdap, and MMR. - Candidates should be aware that this is not a fly-in fly-out position; you will be residing at the station for an extended period. - You will work six days a week, with long hours expected. - Start dates are approximate and contingent upon passing medical and dental checks, obtaining security clearance, completing any required notice periods, and ice flight availability. - A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is mandatory. - A Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and a clean criminal record are required. - The application process is lengthy, and candidates should be prepared for a thorough selection process that may require travel to Tauranga for medical and dental exams. We will cover testing and flight costs for those traveling from outside the Bay of Plenty.
