We are united by a common goal: to enhance the quality of life for our residents. About the Role We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team at the Rototuna village in Hamilton. In this role, you will contribute to creating a safe, healthy, and enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care and assistance in their daily lives, making a meaningful impact on their well-being. Typical duties of a Caregiver include: - Delivering meals and assisting during mealtimes - Aiding with personal hygiene, such as showering - Supporting individual care plan requirements, including walks and exercises - Facilitating activities, such as puzzles and table tennis This is a casual position, and you will be working on an as-needed basis. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities: - A natural empathy, kindness, and patience - Experience in aged care or a similar role - Strong verbal communication skills to build lasting relationships - A commitment to being available for a variety of shifts, sometimes at short notice Additional Information Joining the Summerset team means becoming part of a community where your work has a real impact.
