About the Company
Our client, established in 1955, is a leading manufacturer of fasteners and joinery products for the residential construction industry. As the company continues to grow, we are looking for technically minded individuals or qualified and experienced die-setters to join our expanding team.
About the Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to set tools in line with production plans using the SMED framework. You will ensure that all products meet our quality control standards and assist in setting up metal stamping dies as well as the production area as needed.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning dies to ensure they are ready for production. If required, you may also assist in meeting production targets as a machine operator and packer.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Experience in metal stamping and die setting
- Knowledge of press operation
- A forklift license is a bonus
- Previous experience in a factory environment
- Ability to perform tasks as directed
- A self-motivated team player
