About the Role
We are currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of 3 Waters projects, which range from $5 million to over $50 million. These projects will include water and wastewater treatment facilities and associated assets.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing design and delivery, engaging with clients, and overseeing contract administration in accordance with NZS 3910. You will collaborate closely with local government teams, contributing to project reporting, risk management, and providing solution-focused leadership on infrastructure projects related to 3 Waters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from design through to construction and close-out.
- Oversee project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Interface closely with council stakeholders.
- Conduct contract administration and ensure compliance with NZS 3910.
- Prepare reports and audits as required.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, proactively resolving issues to meet or manage expectations.
- Lead and manage project meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects, particularly in the 3 Waters sector.
- Familiarity with working alongside local government or central agencies.
- Proficiency in contract administration, especially with NZS 3910.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and client management skills.
- An open and honest communicator who is solution-driven and not merely a "yes person."
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
