About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Management workers to join our team as soon as possible. In the role of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Worker, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating traffic flow, implementing traffic control measures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining smooth operations and safety within our transportation networks.
Requirements
Experience: While previous experience in traffic management or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities are crucial. You should be capable of working effectively in high-pressure situations.
Certifications: TTM, TMO, and STMS certifications are preferred.
Licenses: A Full Class 1 license is essential.
Physical Fitness: The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pre-employment Checks: You must have the right to work in New Zealand and pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check, ACC assessment, and drug test.

Key Responsibilities
Traffic Control: You will implement and manage traffic control plans, which involve setting up road signs, cones, and barriers to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
Coordination: This role involves working closely with local authorities, contractors, and the public to coordinate traffic management activities and address any arising issues.
Monitoring: You will monitor traffic conditions, respond promptly to incidents or disruptions, and adjust traffic control measures as necessary.
Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of traffic management activities, incidents, and issues encountered is critical. You will also prepare reports as required.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all traffic management practices comply with relevant safety regulations and standards is a key responsibility.
