    About the Company At Odyssey House, we are dedicated to supporting and empowering youth facing mental health challenges. Our team works collaboratively to provide impactful services that foster well-being and resilience among young people aged 13 to 24. We believe in the potential of every individual and are committed to creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. About the Role We are currently seeking an engaging social worker or a similarly qualified health professional to join our Manu Ka Rere Collaborative. In this role, you will provide one-on-one and group support for young individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. Your work will involve both in-person and online interactions, allowing for flexible engagement with our clients. Key responsibilities of this position include: - Delivering a range of intervention models and conducting assessments for youth - Supporting young people online and in person - Facilitating group sessions with youth and their family members, including parenting groups - Working 40 hours per week, with some flexibility to work until 6:30 PM on certain days to accommodate clients after school - Guiding young people and their families on the path to well-being - Collaborating with link agencies and liaising with Specialist Youth Services and Primary Care - Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring care plans are in place Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: - A health professional qualification and current registration - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Effective group facilitation abilities - Experience in building rapport with young people - Excellent organizational skills for managing a clinical workload - Cultural awareness and sensitivity It is essential that you have the ability to connect with young people and are eager to contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team.
