About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a full-time, permanent position focused on the accounts payable function. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all activities related to accounts payable. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring invoices are correctly coded
- Processing invoices using Microsoft Great Plains
- Making timely payments
- Reconciling statements
- Maintaining creditors' master files
- Collaborating with colleagues nationwide to resolve discrepancies
- Occasionally managing automatic and direct debit payments, as well as overseas supplier payments and MasterCard reconciliations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively build relationships both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end accounts payable or a similar role
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and high accuracy
- Proficiency in high-volume data entry
- Computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Current right to work in New Zealand
