About the Role We are currently seeking Kitchen Hands to join our casual staff team in East Auckland, specifically in the areas of Pakuranga, Beachlands, Botany Downs, and Clevedon. This position offers the flexibility to work around your other commitments, allowing you to choose when and where you work. As a Kitchen Hand, your responsibilities will include: - Working in kitchens at rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages - Taking meal orders and assisting in meal preparation - Setting and clearing tables - Serving meals to residents - Cleaning the kitchen, operating the dishwasher, and washing cooking dishes Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, with a preference for hospitality or aged care settings - A Food Safety Certificate (highly advantageous) - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Access to reliable transport for commuting to our clients' facilities - Reliability, motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team - Excellent food hygiene and personal hygiene standards A Bit About Working for Us As part of our team, you will update your availability through our user-friendly mobile app, allowing us to send shift offer notifications based on your preferences and skill set.
