About the Company We are a well-established factory freezer trawler operating within New Zealand's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). Our base of operations is the Port of Timaru, where we focus on producing high-quality surimi and H&G products during our fishing seasons. About the Role We are currently inviting applications for full-time seagoing positions on our deep-sea factory trawler. Our voyages typically last between four to six weeks, with brief turnarounds at port. We have several positions available, including: - Sub Bosuns - Engineers - Cooks - Assistant Chefs - Health Officers - Deck Crew (Trawl and Factory) Please note that all roles involve working in the factory to process the catch for extended periods. Requirements We encourage you to apply if you meet the following criteria: - Previous deep-sea fishing experience - Relevant qualifications for the position you are applying for - Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug testing - You are a New Zealand citizen or possess a residence class visa In addition, we offer various benefits during your first year of employment, which may include food parcels, supermarket vouchers, and return flights.
