    Description

About the Company At Little Wonders St Kilda, we are a vibrant, beachside early childhood centre dedicated to providing quality care and education for infants, toddlers, and young children. Our facility features five beautiful rooms and is situated in a prime location with abundant surrounding amenities. We take pride in creating a diverse and inclusive environment that celebrates each child’s unique culture, language, and identity. Our goal is to foster a warm and respectful learning atmosphere where every child can thrive. About the Role We are currently seeking a fixed-term, non-certificated teacher to join our team and help create special memories for our children every day. This position is for a one-year fixed term, offering 32 hours per week starting at the end of October 2025. You will be working in our 3–5-year-old room within a well-resourced centre that encourages your creativity and teaching skills. We value professional development and offer an established career path, along with the opportunity to connect with the Evolve network of early childhood education professionals. Life at our centre is rich with meaningful experiences, from outdoor play and local park visits to cultural celebrations and community connections. Requirements We are looking for a candidate who thrives on challenges and actively seeks opportunities for personal and professional growth. The ideal applicant will have: - Proven experience in early childhood education, with a solid understanding of the New Zealand early childhood curriculum and learning stories. - A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to our supportive and inclusive team culture. - A willingness to explore and build connections within our local community to enhance learning opportunities for our children. - Flexibility to work during our centre's opening hours (from 7:30 am) and closing hours (until 5:30 pm). Benefits In addition to a supportive team environment, we offer a range of benefits, including discounted childcare for your children and half-day birthday leave. If you believe this role aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to apply. We look forward to meeting you!
