About the Role We are seeking a skilled Drainage / Excavator Operator to join our team based in Kopu. This role will involve leading a two-person drainage operation team while covering the entire Coromandel State Highways. You will be responsible for operating under Stop/Go Temporary Traffic Management on a daily basis and performing various tasks such as clearing surface water channels, addressing small slips, and managing culverts. In addition to these tasks, you will carry out shoulder filling, rest area leveling, and minor renewal works, which include subsoil drainage and culvert installations. The position may also require participation in an on-call roster as needed. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have a WTR endorsement as it is essential for the position. Additionally, a Class 4 or 5 driver’s license is required to operate the necessary machinery and vehicles.
