We are currently seeking an experienced Digger Operator to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
About the Role
As a Civil Excavator and Drainlayer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by operating diggers ranging from 1.7 to 20 tonnes. Your primary responsibilities will include excavation, trenching, backfilling, and assisting with drainage works. A strong commitment to following health and safety protocols is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate excavators up to 20 tonnes.
- Perform excavation, trenching, and backfilling for drainage and civil works.
- Utilize GPS excavators for grading and trenching tasks.
- Assist team members with various on-site tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and inspect machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Full Class 1 Licence with WTR Endorsements.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil excavation.
- Proven experience operating diggers up to 20 tonnes.
- Experience with GPS excavators is highly desirable.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Class 2 and 4 Licences would be an advantage.
