About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our team and work on a variety of general civil and pavement construction projects in the Waikato region. This position presents an excellent opportunity to engage in consistent work with a reputable contractor while contributing to high-quality infrastructure developments. Requirements - Proven experience operating graders in civil or pavement projects - Confidence in final trim and the ability to work within tight tolerances - WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) certification - Valid Site Safe certification - Valid New Zealand work rights - Full New Zealand driver's license Duties In this role, you will: - Operate grader machinery to trim and level surfaces - Perform bulk earthworks, roading, and pavement preparation - Read and interpret site plans while setting levels - Conduct basic machine maintenance and safety checks - Collaborate closely with foremen, engineers, and site crews Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32 to $37, in addition to 8% holiday pay and participation in the Kiwisaver program.
