About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our client's team. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including electrical fault finding, installations, and repairs in industrial environments. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production lines and machinery, as well as conduct independent site work involving diagnostics and component replacements. You will also be tasked with interpreting electrical diagrams and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, and fulfilling reporting requirements. Effective communication with operations, engineers, and supervisors on-site will be essential to your success. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably with exposure to the food and beverage sector. You must be capable of working independently and managing tasks without close supervision. EWRB registration or active progress toward it is necessary, along with a strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure. A solid understanding of New Zealand electrical standards and site safety practices is essential.
