About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Hamilton. This role requires flexibility, as availability for both weekends and weekdays is necessary. As a casual employee, your hours will vary, and you will be scheduled as needed, with advance notice provided.

About You
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring individual who enjoys helping others. You will focus on providing exceptional customer service with integrity and care. Your entrepreneurial sales skills will shine as you assist our customers, and your commitment to a disciplined retail approach will contribute to our team's success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Upholding health and safety standards for both the team and customers
- Delivering exceptional customer service and product solutions
- Gaining a thorough understanding of our product range through in-house and external training, as well as supplier update sessions
- Merchandising the store to ensure product availability for customers
- Operating the Point of Sale system for various customer transactions
- Assisting with unloading, processing, and storage of stock
- Performing general housekeeping duties to enhance the customer experience
- Collaborating effectively with team members
The ideal candidate will:
- Have personal or professional experience and interest in the fishing, marine, or motorhome industries
- Be eager to promote our strong customer service culture
- Preferably possess retail or customer service experience
- Be hands-on and comfortable in an active role
- Be available to work alternate weekends and some public holidays
