About the Role
We are excited to offer a full-time sales role in our Hamilton store's Electrical department, where you can embrace your competitive spirit. In this position, you will have the opportunity to earn a base wage along with uncapped commission, potentially leading to average earnings of over $37 per hour.
This role is centered around delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with our customers to create a positive shopping experience. Comprehensive training will be provided, focusing on our electrical products to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective selling.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Selling electrical products and services
- Utilizing our point of sale and customer service system
- Maintaining the presentation of the electrical department
- Assisting with operational tasks such as stock takes
- Working on a 7-day roster, which includes weekend and public holiday shifts
About You
We are looking for a strong communicator who is motivated to put in the effort and enjoy the rewards that come with it. With the potential for uncapped commission, you have the ability to influence your own earnings.
We seek candidates who possess the following attributes:
- A quick learner with a genuine interest in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills
- Retail sales and POS system experience is desirable
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
