Retail Assistant - Four Square

About the Company Four Square Silverdale Hamilton is a community-focused grocery store dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers. About the Role We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals for both full-time and part-time Retail Assistant positions. The full-time role offers approximately 30 hours per week, with shifts available from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. For part-time positions, we have opportunities for approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, with shifts available during the week and on weekends. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for serving our valued customers, maintaining a fast-paced work environment, handling heavy boxes, cleaning, restocking shelves, and performing other related duties. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: - A positive attitude and excellent communication skills - High standards of presentation - Attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly - Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work weekends and evenings - Honesty, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn - A willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service - A current LCQ certificate While experience in grocery retail is preferred, we will also consider candidates with similar experience in general retail, liquor, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
